  • We're thrilled to welcome Olivia and Frederikke to our office for their master's thesis. We look forward to their fresh perspectives.

Frederikke and Olivia, master's students in Techno-Anthropology, are currently engaged in producing a documentary film. Their focus is on exploring how oasi.care’s new medical adhesive device might reshape labor dynamics, impact the physical and emotional aspects of midwives' work, and alter traditional practices deeply rooted in the midwifery profession. Their aim is to understand these changes from the perspective of midwives themselves, considering how their situated knowledge and experiences, shaped by their roles in a gendered healthcare system, are affected by the introduction of this new technology in childbirth care.
