Our story
In 2022, Ditte-Marie Fog Ibsen and Julia Sand established Oasicare after identifying a significant and under-addressed challenge in maternal care — perineal tears. With backgrounds in industrial design, they approached the problem from a user-centered and evidence-driven perspective, focusing on how better solutions could support both women and clinicians during birth. Starting with a single idea and a drawing, they secured their first investment. Since then, the company has progressed through the efforts of people who share the same vision: a future where women receive better care and maintain their quality of life after birth. Today, ASISU has reached regulatory approval and is undergoing clinical testing and evaluation in Denmark.
